Hi All,

Late this morning, a few miles south of the city of Poulsbo, in a spot
called Scandia, I had a LARK SPARROW in with a large flock of zonos.
Washington has one other winter record for Lark Sparrow listed in Birds
of Washington. I'm not aware of other winter records at the moment.

Scandia can be reached by driving south out of Poulsbo (west side) on
Viking Way. It is the "backway" to get to Silverdale from Poulsbo. The
road to Scandia drops down a hill heading heading east from Viking Way.
There is a church on the corner at the bottom of the hill - the parking
lot for the church might be the best spot to park. The sparrow flock
frequented the field/spirea patch kitty corner to the church.

Cheers,
