At the Lake Sammamish State Park boat launch area this afternoon I had another encounter with the white pelican as he circled, then landed at the far southeastern shore of the lake. I then lost track of him but rediscovered him over at the mouth of Issaquah Creek.

I lost track of the pelican because of getting distracted by the reappearance of what I believe is a common loon (juvenile?).
