Hello this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was a made Thursday December 4. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls
at 503-233-3976.

The BEAN GOOSE continues at the Nehalem Bay NWR.

On December 3 a SNOWY OWL was at Perkins Peninsula at Fern Ridge Reservoir.
On November 22 one was photographed near Waldport. A SNOWY OWL was reported
November 17 along hwy 99W near Rickeall. It was not relocated. Snowy Owl
reports from Washington indicate no major movements.

On November 29 a female BULLOCK?S ORIOLE visited a Coos Bay feeder. A
TROPICAL KINGBIRD was seen November 28 on the North Spit of Coos Bay. On
November 27 a RED KNOT, 12 MARBLED GODWITS, and a WILLET were on Coos Bay.
On November 30 a BURROWING OWL was on Yaquina Head north of Newport. It
continues to be seen. A TROPICAL KINGBIRD was in Astoria November 27. A
VESPER SPARROW was in Warrenton December 3.

A male SNOW BUNTING was seen November 26 at the fire station parking lot at
the Portland Airport. On November 30 two GRAY JAYS were on Mt. Pisgah near
Eugene.

On December 2 an ACORN WOODPECKER visited a feeder in Sisters. On November
30 an OSPREY was in Bend. A female PINE GROSBEAK was in Bend November 28. On
December 1 a flock of five COMMON REDPOLLS was at Dillon Falls south of
Bend.
