Marilyn and I escaped the Valley fog in hopes of finding some new Winter visitors and were not disappointed by this youngster.
The owl was quite skittish and did not allow us to get much closer than 200m.
There is something magical about this area, as we have had immature Snowy Owls within 1/4 mile of this same location on several occasions in the last five years.
