Hi all

Last night we had a neighbor looking around our front yard - when we asked him what he was doing he said he was following an owl into our maple tree! We got our flashlight out and it was sitting about 30 feet away from our deck. I had seen it one other time sitting on the road as I was leaving for work but I wasn't sure what kind of owl it was. I thought it was either a barred or barn owl just because it was so pale.

There are lots of rodents, squirrels and rabbits around here so I'm guessing it will stay around a while. If you want to look for it there are a lot of trees that you can look around. The area is between Opsted Elementary and I-90. If you need a street to look up try SE 134th Street. Our Brittany has been trying to tell us that something was out there for a couple of weeks. I guess we had better listen to her.

Happy looking
