Spotted a female Acorn Woodpecker in Cashmere this morning, right on the
corner of Riverside and Parkhill St. near the power station. She was
perched in the top of a birch tree and flew around the area for an hour or
so. Last seen near the museum. There are some large oak trees on the
property. I believe this is a first for Chelan county.
