Depends on the size of the room and number of people. Costco or any
electronics store (e.g. Fry's) will have models to try out. You can
also get an adapter cable that goes from mini-stereo plug at the iPod
end, to dual RCA plugs at the other end, which can be plugged into a
standard hi fi stereo with bookshelf speakers.
