We've had our first real snow cover at my yard since mid December. It really brings out the birds to the feeders. The juncos, Steller's Jays, Towhees and Varied Thrushes are about the same, But I've had many more Fox sparrows, and my first Mourning Doves in 3 weeks. Most unusual are the 3 Scrub Jays. They live just below me at the bottom of my hill but don't come up until it snows. The last time they were here was during the mid December snowstorm.
