All,

Wednesday at Ridgefield NWR I photographed a Ring-necked Duck subdue and
swallow a Rough-skinned Newt. Rough-skinned Newts can be very toxic and
can kill predators that eat them. The Wikipedia article says an Oregon
man swallowed one on a dare and died.
