hello everyone,

i found an interesting body of video work by a professor of art and design
at Rhode Island School of Design where he tracks the movements of birds in
flight. i shared a video of a murmuration of starlings that come in to
their roost and, before they settle in for the evening, they repeatedly fly
and return.

the video itself is not time-lapse; it superimposes several frames from
each animal's movement into the screen simultaneously, thereby creating a
visual track of that animal's movements.

the software used is free, i've included a link to it in the story, so you
can try it for yourself.

cheers,
