Took a drive over to Douglas County today. The snowy owl is still west of Road O NE, just south of the first farmhouse north of Highway 2.

Otherwise it was a pretty dull day. Lots of horned larks, but no Lapland longspurs or snow buntings. One (!?) rough legged hawk, one red-tail, two northern shrikes, and (finally) the first great horned owl of the year.
