I searched persistently for an Edmonds Hermit Thrush throughout January. No luck. I finally ticked my year bird in the foothills above Sultan. Now this morning a HETH showed up at my feeders. Thank the snow gods. I usually only see yard HETHs when the evergreen huckleberries are ready to be stripped in late October. This puts us at 89 for our Edmonds year list.
