Tweeters, The shovelers were out in force on Green Lake near the Community
Center. I counted approximately 110 with about half of them sitting on the
shore huddled in the snow. The remainder seemed to be aimlessly circling
around next to the life guard platform. I am not sure I was seeing the
same behavior reported previously, but I have never seen such a large
concentration of these birds before.
