If we are on a road trip or the weather makes walking outside undesirable and Karen and I want to get in more steps for the day, we will go into a large store and walk the aisles. The larger the store the better. Today we were walking the aisles at QFC Redmond Ridge when Karen spotted a House Sparrow on aisle 5, the location of the bulk food bins. Later on our little indoor hike we ran into some friends and told them about the bird on aisle 5. They informed us that the birds are usually in the produce department. So we are thinking maybe we have spotted a rarity due to the location of the bird, aisle 5 rather than the produce department, and should make a report on eBird.
