This is a late entry regarding ruby crowned kinglet along the ramp in front
of my house. It was about 2 ? feet from me, hopping along in e flower bed.
I did not have my camera to take a picture.. mid after noon on Friday. Sat.
some of my friends and I were doing some mild hiking at a tree farm in
Silverdale. there was a ruby crowned kinglet was in the salal and other
bushes along the logging road we were on. It went in and out of the bushes
and did not seem to mind us walking along with it. I took some pictures,
bur they are so active, that it is hard to get a good picture. We followed
for 20 or so minutes!

We also saw a red breasted sapsucker in a tall tree. We watched it for
close to 30 minutes, and a second one came to the same tree. I did take
pictures if the first one. One other birder was there also. We positively
identified it and took pictures.

It was a life bird for both of us.
