A somewhat humorous thing happened as I was taking videos of M39.? A Pileated WP came into the area.? I had pulled a beer can out of the blackberries with the intent of recycling it.? When I saw M39, I placed the can on the ground.? The wind was blowing so hard that the can blew along the ground and rattled.? The Pileated WP eyed the can carefully making sure that it was safe to continue hammering the tree.
