The pair of Ravens that has been visiting Lincoln Park and the larger
general area of SW Seattle for a few years now, each year from late winter
to early spring arrived back today announcing their presence to me with
their croaks at about 1:45 pm. I had been looking and listening for them
every day lately, so there is a fair chance that today is their first day
back. About 14 years ago I was seeing a Raven or two visiting Seward Park,
and was told a pair was nesting on Mercer Island. Other than these, I have
never seen, heard or heard of, any Ravens within Seattle's city limits in
my 36 years in Seattle.
