Morning, Tweeters -

So great to bird from the house since I'm still on crutches...

I heard the Pileateds across the street on their telephone poles then saw them fly to our rear garden so I scrambled to my office wheelie chair and got back to the kitchen and watched the pair enjoy some suet. Amazing to see them stroll around on the ground. Tried to get a few photos. Nothing to write home about, but glad to capture those amazing red heads. They returned to the front telephone poles - they have 3 favorite. Could see the little girl across the street watching them on the one right in front of their window.

A Band-tail Pigeon also made an appearance, along with all the regulars - juncos, Townsend's warblers, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, and Anna's, etc - would this be considered "Green Birding"? :)
