hi:

saw a hawk on the phone wire midway between the bridge and the roundabout
on 124th ave ne. very long wings. falcony looking. white between eyes
and beak. entire front white. when it lifted off of the wire there was a
hint of yellow brown from wings to throat to high upper chest as it lifted
off, otherwise entire front of bird at rest appeared white. hint of yellow
brown on cheeks almost like malar stripes. rest of head and back dark
gray. seemed a bit larger than a big female peregrine. doubled back
thinking it might be gyrfalcon, but definitely not a falcon.
