Yesterday morning in two trees at the east end of the Olympia farmers
market parking lot, there were more Cedar Waxwings than I have ever seen
at one time. I counted twenty two before the flocks took off, there were
more than that.
This morning during a brief sun break in the rain I went by Woodland
creek park in Lacey. The larger grassy areas were covered in grazing
Wigeons, again more than I have ever seen at one time. I counted one
hundred and eighty, there were more than that.
