You're in luck if you will be in South Florida on March 15th. The Tropical
Audubon Society (TAS) of Miami is having a field trip to Everglandes NP on
Saturday, March 15th. You'd do well to go on this free field trip as there
are some exceptional birders as well as exceptional birds in attendennce.

A little further north, the Big "O" Birding Festival (The "O" stands for
Lake "Okeechobee") will be taking place from March 9 - 13th. You'd do well
to get on one of the Stormwater Treatment Area #5 (STA-5) tours/fieldtrips.
You'll be amazed at the number of birds, some rare, that you'll see. Go
