Hi Tweeters,

When looking for birds at the Earth Sanctuary on Whidbey Island (Freeland) a couple of days ago, Craig and I saw a River Otter.
First it swam back and forth, staring at us and grunting. Then it swam across the pond, pulled out a duck it had stashed behind a log and began to eat it.
This was the first otter we have seen there.
