Hi.

I will have a full day to bird starting in Seattle on March 7, with a car and willingness to drive.

I have the Birding Washington book. Skagit Flats seems like a prime area. If there are specific suggestions beyond what's in the book, please feel free to deluge me :-)

I would appreciate recommendations for such things as
- Gyrfalcon (I saw the posts regarding the one in Snohomish if that ends up still being seen)
- Trumpeter Swan
- Varied Thrush
- Lots of snow geese (I love flocks)
- Eagles (too late for the largest concentrations? still would be nice to see)

- Just about any raptors

We've had an irruption of snowy owls in the northeast and I've seen a few at respectful distances; I am always game for more (or other owls, of course).

Thank you kindly.
