Dear Tweeters,

This coming summer, I?plan to take a?birding trip to India. I am going?with a Canadian friend who is very keen on going there. It wouldn't have been my first choice of trip, since I have been to Goa and seen a lot of the Indian birds there, but it's nice to go with somebody else, as a change to my usual pattern of going solo.

I am letting Peter do a lot of the planning, since he has a longer wish list of species than I do, but I would love to hear from any Tweeters out there who can recommend guides. We are going to concentrate on the north, and especially hope to visit Ladakh. I know we are going in the monsoon, but that is my only option. So, please let me know of any ideas--no need to CC it to Tweeters.
