My son and I both noticed a junco scouring the back deck for fallen seed, and noticed it had no tail. Then we looked more closely and saw that it had only one leg! Still hopping around, using its wingtips to balance as necessary. I am impressed by its moxie, but don't have high hopes for its survival: it's always been a risky business being a songbird. But best of luck, little guy!
