Leucistic Junco? and Brady Loop Sandhill Crane, etc. pictures
?
I'm a very amateur birder and photographer, so hope these ID's are accurate.
?
>From previous postings it's clear that Junco identification is more complicated than I thought.? Can anyone help explain what's going on with this?one?that has been at my feeders this month??? http://www.flickr.com/photos/94548570 at N08/sets/72157641371639533/ ?
?
Also, I live 10 minutes from the Monte Brady/Wenzel Slough loops in Grays Harbor Co. so visit often.? Just thought I'd include the pictures/videos I've taken this month of the "regulars," including the previously reported Sandhill Crane (that was still there in the Brady cornfields 3 days ago before flooding closed roads), Bald Eagles, Kestrel, Northern Harrier (video cleaning up in a puddle), a standoff between an eagle and common raven in a field (after some posturing the raven retreated) Western Scrub-Jay, Trumpeter Swans? Killdeer, Snowy Plovers?? (Good directions for navigating this area are in A Birder's Guide to Washington, pages 62-63.)
