This afternoon I drove over to the Discovery Bay Golf Club and found the
EMPEROR GOOSE, 4 GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE, 1 CACKLING GOOSE (minima)
among CANADA GEESE on the Golf Course. I got permission to walk on the
course since no one was playing in the rain and I got some pictures of all
four geese species together.

It was not all happy family for my picture. I got some shots of a GREATER
WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE with head lowered and neck stretched out chasing the
EMPEROR GOOSE. The Emperor Goose did not seemed to be too intimidated as
it never really ran with any great haste or even lifted it's wings as the
other goose came toward it. All the geese left the course and flew to
the lake across from the golf course later in the afternoon.

Flying in the rain over the lake there were four VIOLET-GREEN
SWALLOW. There was one swallow that was too distant that may have been a
TREE SWALLOW, but I had to call it swallow species.

At North Beach Park in Port Townsend 8 Black Oyster Catcher flew in and
were working among the rocks for supper.
