Of the 60 species I saw today, the continuing Palm Warbler at the mouth of the Cedar River was the best bird. It was walking along the fence line on the east side of the northernmost parking, vigorously pumping its tail. Several of us were there until about 4 p.m. While there was a good variety of gull species, no Slaty-backed Gull was present.
