After lunch in Snohomish I returned to the field at Old Snohomish-Monroe and Treosti Roads. At 12:30 the Gyrfalcon was perched on the post about midway between the road and the railroad tracks. You needed a scope to see it well. Much larger than a Peregrine, tail extended beyond the wings, light head with a faint mustache noted.
