Subject: [Tweeters] Rusty Blackbird Schmuck Rd Sequim

Early this afternoon I saw the RUSTY BLACKBIRD among the hundreds of
blackbirds along Schmuck Road. They keep moving and it took me almost an
hour to locate the bird. It was with a group close to the road and so very
viewable through my binoculars. It was an added bonus to find the
YELLOW-BILLED LOON at Port Williams later in the afternoon.

I called Vince Lucas and he came and verified my sighting of the loon. We
had good looks at the bird through my scope and Vince got a picture of the
bird that clearly showed the yellow bill and other id points. The bird
moved rapidly west and was diving more often than when I first saw it.
