For many hours Monday night into Tuesday morning before dawn, we had a male
NORTHERN SAW-WHET OWL making his persistent "too too too" advertising call
in the woods between us and the uphill neighbors. This is the second year in
a row in Kalama that I've heard this Code 4 Cowlitz County bird!
