Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday January 16. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls

The Newport KING EIDER continues to be see, as is the Coos Bay PAINTED
BUNTING, the Coquille BROWN THRASHER, and the Hillsboro RUSTY BLACKBIRD.

On January 13 a flock of about 192 CANVASBACKS were on the North Spit of
Coos Bay. The CLAY-COLORED SPARROW at Norway, east of Coos Bay, was seen
again January 14. That day an adult male BULOCK?S ORIOLE was reported at the
Marine Science Center on Yaquina Bay. On January 12 three RED PHALAROPES
were at the South Jetty of Yaquina Bay.

On January 14 up to 96 GREATER YELLOWLEGS were at Brownsmead, east of
Astoria. That day a CHIPPING SPARROW was along Rentenaar Road on Sauvie
Island. A GLAUCOUS GULL was seen January 13 among a gull flock along Hwy 34
west of Lebanon. The female plumaged WESTERN TANAGER at an Eugene feeder was
seen again January 11. A CINNAMON TEAL was on the Delta Ponds in Eugene
January 10.

A flock of over 100 BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS are now being seen in Joseph.
