I hope I'm not boring people with my images but I just uploaded a few more of the Snohomish gyrfalcon that I took a couple of days ago. It was quite far away and on private property (I got permission to access it). Even with my longest lens (800mm) and a crop sensor camera body I still had to crop the images when I processed them. I keep hoping to get closer and with the bird on a lower perch but it has a mind of its own. I didn't see it at all yesterday after hanging around all afternoon. It seems to be very unpredictable and has quite a larger territory in which to hide.
Images can be seen in "recently added images" gallery on my website: http://www.rlkimages.photoshelter.com
