Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday January 23. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls
at 503-233-3976.

There are now and adult male TUFTED DUCK and a hybrid on the Columbia River
at the Vancouver Marine Park and another male on Lacamas Lake in Camas. The
Newport KING EIDER, Ankeny NWR YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER, Coos Bay PAINTED
BUNTING, and the Hillsboro RUSTY BLACKBIRD continue to be seen. The Coquille
BROWN THRASHER and a CLAY-COLORED SPARROW were seen January 15.

On January 15 a PALM WARBLER and a SAY?S PHOEBE were near Floras Lake. The
next day a female BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAK was at Pistol River. On January 18 a
GOLDEN EAGLE was near Toledo. At this time there are two SAY?S PHOEBES and
two BLACK PHOEBES at the Tillamook Air Museum at the Tillamook Airport.

On January 21 a BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON was at McMinnville. Three TREE
SWALLOWS were at Ankeny NWR January 19. On January 20 a TURKEY VULTURE was
near Grants Pass.

The adult gray phase GYRFALCON continues to be seen east of Joseph. On
January 18 three GREAT-TAILED GRACKLES were in Ontario.
