Hi All: Trying to keep track of the ebird sighting in an area is simplified with the Google app Birdtrax. Three selections are available on the Slater Museum website (Vashon Island vicinity, King Co., Pierce Co.) with scroll bars and a longer window going back about two weeks. Keep track of the red-shouldered hawk and great-tailed grackle with one a few clicks at http://www.pugetsound.edu/academics/academic-resources/slater-museum/.The link is in Quick Links middle right.
Also check out the featured video of the common loon - while I was waiting for the yellow-billed, which hasn't been around lately, or at least it has not shown up in the Vashon Island Birdtrax.
