not to belabour the point, but it is possible this is an aviary-bred bird
and the owner is not aware that the bird is missing. perhaps the person is
on vacation and the carer they've hired accidentally let the bird lose? or
... ? i've also asked amongst my avicultural pals to see if anyone in the
area may have lost this bird, and also to see if anyone in the area even
breeds them (or keeps them as aviary pets and is unaware that one has gone
missing? unlikely, but possible.) no response yet. craigslist is another
good option for locating the bird's home.
