We used to get Common Nighthawks at our home at The Golf Course at Newcastle. Haven't been there in years, but the proximity and loads of open space with nearby water sources and mosquitos make the who Highlands/Newcastle area good habitat.

Had two Nighthawks calling while flying above my yard in the Renton highlands tonight around 8 pm.
