Subject: [Tweeters] Immature Chipping Sparrow at Montlake Fill?

Hi all,

I ran into a sparrow that didn't fit into the usual boxes on the trail at
Montlake Fill this morning, a very long-tailed, skinny, tall,
immature-looking LBJ with a sharply peaked head, streaked breast, strong
eyeline that widened at the back of the head, sharply conical yellowish
bill, maybe an immature chipping sparrow? It had a spizella look about the
back and wings. I don't see them a lot, I'd appreciate some second
opinions. Lousy pics from my cell available here:

It hopped on the trail, and flushed into nearby low bushes, always coming
back to the trail.

Thanks,
Abby Larson
