In what seems like another solid year for LAZULI BUNTING, I guess I should not have been surprised by a singing bird in the scrubby field at the n.e. corner of the 84th Street NE (Getchell Hill Rd) and Hwy 9 intersection. This is diagonal to the Springbrook Nursery. The WDOT folks are building a roundabout here, and as I sat in traffic waiting to head east for home, I could hear the bird singing about 6 pm last eve, 7/10.
