Hey all!

I had to leave early from The WOS trip to the San Juan Islands, and there will be more details to follow, but we believe we had an Ovenbird singing for over an hour in low cover, often audible from the parking lot, but basically right at the start of the trail towards Young Hill. It was heard only, (minus a single poor view in flight by one member of the trip) although this included a pretty solid song, and additional vocalizations heard by a member of the group during his "shift" hoping to see the bird out of cover. No idea how chaseable it will be but it would be great if others had a chance to see it!

Awesome awesome trip even having to leave early. The group will be on Orcas tomorrow and I'm sure a full report will follow on the trip and the bird.
