Hi Tweets,
Earlier today, Carl Haynie sent a Tweeters report immediately after spotting the EASTERN KINGBIRD (this morning around 9 am at the mouth of Issaquah Creek at Lake Sam). Here's my eBird report of the other birds we enjoyed there today.
Lake Sammamish State Park, King, US-WA
Jun 3, 2014 7:40 AM - 12:40 PM
Protocol: Traveling
4.0 mile(s)
Comments: Birding LSSP with Carl Haynie. Cloudy and cool (low 50s-60s), 3-7 mph winds. HIGHLIGHT: While scanning for birds at the mouth of Issaquah Creek, Carl called out "Eastern Kingbird"! I saw where he was looking, and both of us watched as it fluttered over the top of a small row of short willows on the west sandbar. It perched at the top for about 20+ seconds, then flew off, rising high to the northeast (towards the boat launch) and disappear.
