Hi Tweets,
I was on WOS San Juan trip for the first 2 days. Even though I missed lots
of good birds on the 3rd day, I am very happy to hear the Ovenbird and saw
other exciting birds. The highlights of the trip for me are
1. Tons of Pacific-slope Flycatcher and Olive-sided flycatcher, 1 Willow
Flycatcher, 2 Western Wood Peewee,
2. 6 Wild Turkey
3. 1 Sora
4. 1 or 2 Barn Owl
5. 11 Harlequin Duck
6. A heard only Ovenbird
7. Fox, deer and a family of 6 river otter
Thank Matt for his leadership and organizational skills to keep us moving
and chasing the birds. Other guru birders kept me wanting to learn more.
