Thanks you to all of you that responded to my request for help with my
mystery bird.

Apparently I somehow ended up with a Northern Bobwhite in my yard. That
was my first thought based on markings but the color seemed all wrong.
Apparently the captive strains of Bobwhite can produce quite light
varieties.

This guy sure blew my mind just strolling through the yard!
