Yesterday was a beautiful day for Black Swifts! For over an hour, I watched about two dozen of these mysterious birds flying around the mouth of Tibbetts Creek. Other highlights: Near the playground there was a Red-eyed Vireo and near the mouth of Issaquah Creek there was a Red-breasted Sapsucker and a Downy Woodpecker feeding red elderberries to their young.
