Can someone help me answer a mystery? One of my chickens was unfortunately
attacked yesterday. I want very much to believe it wasn't my dog (and I'm
99% certain it wasn't, but there are other dogs in the neighborhood). My
question is...the chicken sustained heavy damage to it's back, and nowhere
else. Would that be consistent with a raptor attack that was perhaps a
near-miss or one that was interrupted?
