With an almost constant drizzle, the bird activity seemed somewhat subdued today, though with the mild temperature, it was not unpleasant. And, some uncommon visitors made the trip worthwhile.

PIGEON GUILLEMOT - a pair were well off the swim beach; first sighting at the park

Mourning Dove - Kite Hill
Vaux?s Swift - several over the ponds
NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD - same bird reported by Ted S. yesterday; in the Scot?s Broom between the N-S Trail and the shore, and flying toward the off-leash area; only the second occurrence in the park
