Hi Tweeters,

I was surprised when I went out to my Battle Ground, Clark County back deck
this morning and heard a YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT calling about 50 yards from
the deck. It has now been calling for over an hour and has come closer -
now (as I type) only about ten yards from the deck although I still haven't
seen it. The only other chat I've had from the yard was a calling bird on
June 1, 2008. That one also stayed completely hidden but only stuck around
for about 5 minutes and I presumed it was a migrant. Hopefully this one
will stick around since it's late June.

Keep your eyes and ears skyward!
