Hi -
Stopped by Road 16 NE north of Moses Lake to check for the mockingbird this afternoon.

He's still there - medium sized gray bird with a dark eye line, big white upper wing patches, dark tail with white outer edges, and making noises like a prolonged meltdown in the Pac Man factory.

The bird is a little further in than the last reported location. Take Stratford Road north from Moses Lake to Rd 16 NE. Turn left (west) onto 16 NE. Follow 16 NE past where it goes downhill and turns south. Continue past the farm with the two poplar trees.

Follow the road south past the small green and white state wildlife area sign, then start bearing right. The road ends in a wildlife area access parking area (Discover Pass or Vehicle Access Pass required) with a big cottonwood and some scraggly boxelders at the edge of a seep stream. The bird was moving between the trees and an old sheet-metal gamebird feeder about 100 yards north.
