hello everyone,

I thought you might be interested in watching a really lovely little video
that explains the The Birds of Paradise Project:

http://gu.com/p/3n787/tw

or the big URL:

http://www.theguardian.com/science/grrlscientist/2014/mar/01/grrlscientist-birds-paradise-project-video

this project is devoted to documenting all 39/41 species of birds of
paradise, most of which have never been photographed, filmed or studied
before. the fun thing about this project is that it much more than a video
project. it accompanies an interactive website (that i am still exploring),
a book, lesson plans and a traveling museum exhibition, as well as linking
to thousands of hours of video and audio recordings of all these birds.

cheers,

--
