Apologize if this is old news; we have been out of town. A group of Trumpeter Swans was feeding in a field at the intersection of Pioneer Way and the Orting Highway (SR 162) this evening. Counted 65, including about 6 or 7 gray youngsters. Walkers on the foothills trail said the swans had been there off and on since December. Identified (separated from Tundra) by voice.
